The stunning actress wowed on the red carpet in Los Angeles for her new action sci-fi film in a head-turning reptile-inspired Armani Prive gown.
Kate's make-up artist Molly R. Stern has revealed the inspiration behind the star's accompanying beauty look.
'It was so exciting to get Kate ready for the premiere of Total Recall. Her look was edgy and undone while still looking flawless for a big Hollywood night out,' she told Access Hollywood.
'Wearing a reptile printed Armani Prive dress, Kate left looking like a serpent goddess.'
Molly has revealed how she created Kate's picture perfect look. The beauty professional made sure she prepped the star's skin with Jurlique Rosewater Balancing Mist and Terry Serum De Rose to 'hydrate and smooth'.
She then used Chantecaille Future Skin Foundation 'for a sheer yet luminous finish' before using illuminating bronzer to 'reflect the light'.
Molly also revealed how she created Kate's smoky-eyed look.
'For her eyes I based the lid with NYX Cream Shadow in Gunmetal and then brightened the shade by dusting the olive green shadow from YSL 5 Colour Ha
