Rihanna in awe of UK style

Rihanna in awe of UK style

Rihanna thinks London fashionistas 'set the trends for designers'.
The stunning singer revealed she has a great respect for the capital city's style sense. Rihanna has hailed the young people in London as being the inspiration for future fashion items we will see on the catwalks of tomorrow.
'London has always been one of my favourite cities to come to,' Rihanna told British newspaper The Sun. 'I always go out on the street walking around to see what the kids are doing. They always set the trends for the designers.'
Rihanna is the producer of a new UK talent series Styled To Rock. The show - which launches this week - sees the beauty hunt for a innovative new designer who will create an outfit for her to wear during a performance next year. She says she chose to do the TV series in the UK as a result of the fashion forward youth she had witnessed on the streets of London before.
'I find that the kids in London have so much style, so much street style and so much talent,' Rihanna gushed. 'This show was a way for me to give these kids the opportunity to see how far they can go.'
The star has high hopes for the series that will feature a host of different celebrities as well as Rihanna in guest roles on the judging panel each week. Not only does she expect to find someone skilled enough to make her a suitable stage costume, but Rihanna hopes the series will find a creative talent to rival a host of British legendary designers.
